Our replacement ignition coil can be used for all models of the TGB series except cars with radio interference ignition system.
If you have the original electrical system, you can install the ignition coil without the supplied resistor,
The cars have a built-in ballast resistor that when you press the start button switches a relay past the ballast resistor. The ignition coil then emits stronger sparks.
NOTE If the ignition coil is connected without the ballast resistor, it can be destroyed by overheating, and the spark plugs and switch contacts would also wear out faster.
